Abma’s Greenhouses proudly announces our 4th annual Family Edible Gardening Day! Visit our greenhouses for hands-on workshops, seminars, and demonstrations for all ages. Bring the whole family for fun on the farm!
Starting at 11am, participate in 'Make & Take Home' vegetable and herb garden workshops. Our knowledgeable staff will help you and your family create your garden and teach you how to care for your garden once you take it home. The materials fee for your garden depends on the size of the container and the plant material used.
Visit the greenhouses and learn about cold weather vs. warm weather vegetables. You'll also learn that our homegrown herbs can be grown not only to flavor food but also used for medicinal purposes, as natural pest repellents, and more. Our on-staff botanist, Laura, will hold free mini seminars covering subjects like Home Composting, Companion Planting, and Edible Plants in the Borders.

abma's farm is holding a blood drive!
To give back to our community, Abma's Farm reserved a *Central Jersey Blood Center* Bus for our farm on Saturday, June 23rd. Please click the link below and book your time slot!
Blood donation appointments are scheduled in 15 minute increments.
Abma's Farm chose the Central Jersey Blood Center for this donation to ensure that all blood donated will stay within the state of New Jersey to help those in need on a local level. This potentially helps family members, friends, and neighbors.
What's the scoop?

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, a cooperative relationship between the farmer and their customers. Paying in advance before the season begins means you are committing to a “share” of our crop production. For the 20-week season, you will receive a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, as well as experience the diverse picking seasons on the farm. You will see first hand the bounty, success, and uncontrollable work of Mother Nature! All of our homegrown produce is hand picked at the peak of each item’s individual season to ensure the quality and flavor. Receiving a box weekly offers you the experience and variety of living on a farm without the hard work! By growing all of our produce from seed, we ensure our produce is GMO free and all natural.
